Energy Technology List

The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme is a key part of the Government's programme to manage climate change. It provides businesses with enhanced tax relief for investments in equipment that meets published energy-saving criteria.

Renewable Energy Assurance Listed

The REAL Assurance Scheme has been set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business.

Solar Trade Association

The Solar Trade Association represents the interests of its member companies, made up of UK based Solar Electricity (PV) and Solar Thermal (solar hot water) companies.

Microgeneration Certification Scheme

Since 1966 Agrement Certificates have been providing invaluable information on the performance of new construction products and materials. For only a little less time, the BBA has been running its injected cavity wall insulation approved installer scheme, described elsewhere on this website, and since 2002 has provided the inspections that have underpinned the FENSA Competent Persons Scheme for replacement windows and doors in England and Wales.
