AES Solar are hiring a Technical Admin Assistant to join our growing, dynamic team in the North East of Scotland!
AES Solar are a leading manufacturer and installer of domestic and commercial solar energy systems in Forres, Moray. Established in 1979, we were one of the first manufacturers of solar thermal collectors in Western Europe and a founder of the UK solar market, specialising in solar and storage across Scotland.

Due to our continued growth we require a Technical Admin Assistant to be part of both the technical and administration team. The successful applicant will receive on the job training and qualifications with a view to long term personal development.
Technical Admin Assistant
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Roles and Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer and supplier enquiries whether via telephone, email, post, web or face to face.
- Where necessary assign customer enquiries to the appropriate member of staff according to project size and complexity.
- Complete pre-installation technical administration (preparing and sending guidance documents etc.)
- Complete post-installation technical administration (MCS certificates, DNO notifications, sending handover documentation etc.)
- Participate in learning and development (including training) to achieve relevant knowledge, skills and understanding.
- General administration where required (keeping electronic systems updated, filing emails, documents etc.)
- Preparing estimates and quotations for customers and communicating with customers.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
- Maintaining detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services.
- Work on a day to day basis in line with the company’s core values.
- Any other duties reasonably requested by management.
