WM Donald Workshop
AES Solar installed a 180 panel 49.5 kW solar PV system on the WM Donald workshop in Stonehaven. The large roof made an ideal solar situation, generating free electricity and offsetting carbon emissions. We have estimated that the system will produce 36580.5 kWh per year with a 7-8 year payback period. This will generate electricity during the day meeting a significant portion of the business operations for WM Donald.
This system has large financial benefits which will result in long-term energy savings. It also has significant environmental interests reducing carbon emissions with no harmful by-products.

WM Donald are part of a welcome trend of commercial operators’ future-readying their businesses. Utilising large roof spaces can offset carbon emissions while taking active measure to meet Net Zero targets.
