Access issues and scaffolding are now a thing of the past thanks to the latest AES Solar technology. In order to meet the growing demand for solar power in Scotland we have invested in a new fleet of solar powered jet packs.

The latest development in the already new technology, the jet packs use the clean, renewable energy of the sun. With this power generated our installers are safely launched into the air with zero pollution and carbon footprint.

The AES Solar in-house installation team were put through a thorough training process in how to safely operate the technology. After graduating with flying (if you’ll pardon the pun) colours, as a result all 6 members of the AES Solar team now have their jet pack licence.

In a pilot project in the Highlands, the installation team put the new kit to the test. They completed the 5.78 kWp solar PV system in record time. The jet packs make an easy meal of the distance between the roof and the ground.

Consequently, all going well we will seek to invest in more packs and roll out training across our installation teams.
